In the modern era of technology there are no boundaries based on geography. The advancement of connectivity has created a working environment which disregards barriers formed by continents. For a technology firm to be successful it has to serve the worldwide customer base and employ high quality staff anywhere in the world. Due to these factors the working environment has changed and managers have had a difficult time adjusting. Few of the factors which present challenges to the managers are – around the clock operations, cultural differences, variances in legal environment, differences in financial system, IP protection, communication tools and knowledge of the local market. MNCs have offices around the world and can circumvent some of these issues but it is impossible to be omni-present. For medium and small companies these factors are difficult to overcome. Is the technology industry ready for a company which provides liaison services making project execution and market development more streamlined?
